Solarshield have a range of Blackout films & Blackout Blinds.

Blackout blinds give as near to total light exclusion as possible (bearing in mind that it is near impossible to achieve 100% light exclusion with a blind that can be opened). They are suitable for areas where maximum solar rejection is required to minimise solar heat gain, as well as such situations as photographic dark rooms where high speed emulsions are exposed. Blackout blinds have totally opaque fabric and are fully enclosed in casing.

We also have a range of Dim-out blinds, these blinds have a fabric which allows no light transmission, but are not installed without any head, side or bottom rails.

Our Range of Blackout blinds can be offered with Manual operation or motorisation, with Building controls added or incorporated as required, all powered by Somfy quiet & reliable motors.
